Offering stylish bedrooms, an on-site restaurant and bar, The Roseate Edinburgh is set over 2 Victorian townhouses, on opposite sides of the road, in Edinburgh's West End. This recently awarded 5-star property is located within 550 yards of Haymarket Railway Station and 15 minutes’ walk from central Edinburgh. The rooms offer free WiFi and free private parking is available.
The Roseate Edinburgh was built in 1852 and still has many original features, including open fireplaces. The individually decorated bedrooms have Egyptian cotton bed linen, an LCD flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee trays with home-made shortbread and en-suite facilities with free toiletries. The Suites include features such as 4-poster beds, freestanding copper roll-top baths in the bedroom, or sweeping views over the Edinburgh cityscape.
The Dunstane Restaurant and Bar hosts all-day dining and daily afternoon tea, as well as gin and whisky tastings. It serves a great selection of ales from some of Scotland’s micro-brewers and has over 100 types of whiskies and over 30 different craft gins. We are looking to book on the Sunday 12th February for one night and were wondering if we could bring our dog?

Our dog friendly rooms are our House Superior and House Executive Rooms. We do charge a dog supplement of £30.00 per night, Please note that our policy require pets be accompanied at all times and are not to be left in the room alone.

Yes we have free parking at both our Houses and breakfast is included in the price if you book the B & B rate as we do offer a Room only rate as well.

Hi there, Yes our hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the city centre. There are also buses directly outside the hotel which all go to the city centre as well

Do any of the twin rooms have a sofa bed or the ability to add an extra bed for a teenager? We have three people all wanting a separate bed.

Hi, We do have twin rooms with sofa beds and can fit extra beds, These are limited though it would depend on dates and availability.

Our House Executive Rooms all have shower over bath but we do have some Executive Rooms with shower only

How close to train station are you? How much would that be in a taxi? Thank you

We are a 5 minute walk from Haymarket Station or a 10-15 minute taxi from Waverly. Taxis would cost no more than £15 to get to us. There is also Uber available if needed

Does any of the rooms have a private jacuzzi? If yes, are there ones outdoor in the balcony?

We do not have any rooms with Jacuzzi's or balconies. We do have some suites with baths in the room.

hello we are travelling with our small dog -do you accept pets?

We do have several dog friendly rooms in the Roseate House building. Our Dunstane Bar and Restaurant however is not dog friendly.

A la hora de hacer el checking, tuvimos un trato exquisito. Y el desayuno en una estancia super agradable y con una calidad excelente. En general, tiene bien merecido su 5 estrellas de alojamiento.

Muy acogedora.
El edificio y la decoracion. Y el personal.
No esta adaptado, no hay ascensor y las escaleras de la entrada dificultan o incluso impiden el uso del hotel. Es una lastima.

Fantástica
El personal, muy amable y bien dispuesto. La decoración, elegante y acogedora. El desayuno muy bueno; la ubicación, ideal(en un barrio tranquilo y muy bien conectado).
Si hay que encontrar algún defecto, pienso que deben avisar que no hay ascensor (pensando en personas que pudieran tener dificultades para subir las escaleras hacia los dormitorios superirores)
